Vertex O Series for EU Value Added Tax Associate Implementer
Certified September 2026

Vertex O Series Functional Implementation (VAT)
Awarded January 2021

I’m drawn to technology for what it can make possible: taking a complex tax requirement and finding a clearer, more efficient way to put it into practice. Combining that curiosity with my indirect tax background is what led me into tax technology—and continues to shape the way I work.

My grounding is in VAT advisory, helping multinational companies meet their European VAT obligations, particularly in commodity trading and eCommerce. Working with cross-border transactions and supply chains taught me to look beyond an isolated tax question and understand the commercial activity behind it.

At Vertex, I brought that perspective into tax content and product development, contributing to enhancements such as tax determination logic for multi-party chain transactions. Alongside this, I assisted with Vertex O Series configuration during implementation projects. This gave me experience of both the tax reasoning behind the software and its application to business requirements.

Today, I combine European VAT expertise, global indirect tax knowledge and practical Vertex O Series experience to support businesses and advisory firms. I particularly enjoy work that calls for both tax judgement and technical curiosity: understanding the problem, working through the detail and finding a solution that makes sense in practice.

A clear starting point.
